About E.G Groundworks & Fencing

Ed Gillard founded E.G Groundworks in 2017, having previously been employed for many years in agriculture.

Quickly, Ed established a large portfolio of customers around the Cotswolds and surrounding counties – covering all aspects of hard landscaping, groundworks, construction of commercial premises – including marking out and completing footings on new builds. Where possible, he ensures cleared topsoil is cleaned and recycled for use either on the construction site or sold separately for landscaping.

Keeping true to his agricultural roots, Ed also provides and installs high security and secure fencing on farmland and domestic properties, ensuring offcuts are turned into firewood and kindling.
The demand for his services and his desire to look after the tools of his trade has enabled Ed to create a Plant & Tool Hire side to his business, which includes a variety of diggers, screeners and other groundworks equipment.

Ed has now built on his knowledge and success by developing a professional groundworks team to cope with the many personal recommendations from customers, old and new. This allows Ed to be on-hand to provide advice to customers who need guidance on how to meet their own requirements and how to complete any job to a high standard. He has a very easy-going nature, easy to contact and discuss matters with and will always put his customers first.
